- Bid increments refer to the minimum amount by which a bid must be increased during an auction. This ensures a fair and structured bidding process. The bidding platform or auctioneer typically sets these increments.
- For example, if the current highest bid is $100 and the bid increment is $10, the next valid bid must be at least $110.

Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP), Turbo AI Condition Report & Carfax
UVIP provides important information about a used vehicle being sold privately or by a dealership. The UVIP includes details about the vehicle’s registration history, lien information, accident history, and any outstanding recalls. It is meant to provide transparency and protect buyers from purchasing a vehicle with undisclosed issues or liens. The UVIP is typically provided by the seller to the buyer before the sale is completed and is an important document to review before making a used car purchase in Ontario.

To facilitate your bidding experience, a temporary hold is placed on your credit card, accounting for the potential buyer’s fee. The hold amount is set at 1.5% of your initial bid, with a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $1,500. This measure ensures coverage if you secure the winning bid. In the event you are not the successful bidder, the hold is promptly released at the conclusion of the auction.
The hold will be released after the conclusion of the auction.
A reserve price is the minimum amount set by the seller in an auction to ensure that the item will only be sold if the bidding reaches or exceeds that specified amount. The reserve price is kept confidential and acts as a safeguard for the seller. If the bidding does not meet this reserve, the item may not be sold.
Should the reserve price go unmet, we will engage with the highest bidder to explore potential offers. The buyer and seller have the opportunity to negotiate and counteroffer through TurboBid to reach a satisfactory deal. Our platform will oversee the transaction to ensure its successful conclusion. In the absence of an agreement, the vehicle will be relisted for another auction run.
TurboBid facilitates communication between the buyer and seller using our messages section within the account dashboard. To complete the transaction, both parties are required to upload necessary documents, including a driver’s license, proof of vehicle ownership, and the chosen payment method.

Transportation of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. The vehicle can either be picked up at the seller’s location or towed by your own method of transportation. Additionally, TurboBid transport can assist to get your vehicle delivered anywhere in Canada.
TurboBid recommends paying the seller with a certified cheque payable to the name of the vehicle ownership. Additionally , TurboBid does offer an escrow service to help facilitate the transaction.
TurboBid escrow service is available for an additional $149. We help take care of the payment by placing it in an escrow account, the seller gets paid when the buyer receives the vehicle, keys and ownership.

No, All of our auctions are conducted remotely, vehicles sold will be picked up by the buyer or alternative transpiration method will be arranged. TurboBid can also assist in transporting the vehicle, email for a quote at transport@turbobid.ca to inquire about transportation estimates beforehand.

Auction slots are allocated based on availability to ensure optimal visibility for your vehicle. TurboBid actively promotes your vehicle to its pool of buyers across various marketing platforms. You have the flexibility to choose the day or week for your car to be featured in the auction. We collaborate with you to enhance the chances of a successful sale.
Each vehicle auction spans a period of 7 days, and in the last 5 minutes, placing a bid triggers a 60-second reset to the auction timer. This measure is implemented to uphold fair market dynamics.
The auction cant be edited once it goes live by the seller, you can contact us at support@turbobid.ca or message us from the dashboard to assist in any changes. We encourage additional information and disclosure.

The reserve price represents the minimum amount you’re willing to accept, kept confidential on the listing. While we’ll seek your input and propose our recommendation based on available data, ultimately, you have control over setting the price for your vehicle. Feel free to adjust the reserve price to appeal to a broader range of potential buyers.
The reserve price is not disclosed on the listing. Once the bid surpasses the reserve price, the notification from the listing will be removed as the price is above the reserve.
No, All vehicles listed on TurboBid are exclusive to the platform. If the seller or buyer are found in violation of this, they will be permanently removed and banned from the platform. Simply, place the maximum bid for the vehicle and check back for additional inventory.
Once the auction is concluded, the buyer and seller will be connected in the messages center of your dashboard. TurboBid will help facilitate the closing of the transaction with its closing procedures. More information found here
TurboBid recommends receiving the payment by the buyer with a certified cheque payable to the name of the vehicle ownership. The seller should verify and make sure the payment is cleared before signing the ownership. TurboBid helps assist both the buyer & seller. Additionally, we do offer an escrow service to help facilitate the transaction.
In the event this were to occur, the buyer would forfeit the 1.5% TurboBid buyer fee. TurboBid will contact the second highest bidder to see if a deal can be reached, if no agreement is reached, the vehicle would be relisted for another 7 days
All users on TurboBid can bid on your vehicle. Each user is verified before hand and each bid must be accompanied with a credit card hold. All buyers are expected to complete full payment within 7 business days of the auction closing date. TurboBid is not responsible for any transportation, customs or fees.
Sellers can respond to questions directly from the TurboBid dashboard in the messages section .
Vehicles sold with a safety standard certificate must be valid for at least 20 days before the 36 day expiry..
At the conclusion of the auction, the buyer and seller will submit required information and documents to conclude the transaction.

Payment/ Finance Questions
Yes, you can apply for financing here to pre qualify for a spending limit or apply on the listing page for the vehicle you’re looking at.
If you’re apply to finance a vehicle , you must do your application 48 hours prior to the auction closing to ensure easy approval. If you are approved , the credit limit unused will carry over to other vehicles you are looking at.

Warranty Questions
Information on warranty is available on each listing, if a factory warranty applies it will be listed otherwise an option to purchase vehicle protection plans is available post sale. Turbobid offers no warranties or guarantees on any vehicle unless stated.
Yes , we offer multiple protection plans In partnership with GuardTree.
Yes, all of our protection plans are on a monthly basis with no commitment. You can cancel at any time.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to be covered in accordance to your agreement through to the end of your billing period
GuardTree Used Car Warranty cannot be transferred. If you choose to sell or transfer ownership of your vehicle, please cancel your subscription to end your protection and automatic payments.
The protection plans are underwritten by GuardTree.

Shipping & Transport Questions
Yes, You can pick up the vehicle after the payment has been cleared and confirmed by the seller. Both parties can communicate through TurboBid MyAccount to coordinate pick up time & location.
TurboBid Transport provides third party transportation methods with open & enclosed trailers all across Canada.
You can get a quote directly on each listing page through the ,” Get Quote” button or email transport@turbobid.ca
TurboBid offers shipping all across Canada and the United States,United Arab Emirates, China and Europe. Quotes are only available via email at transport@turbobid.ca. Buyers are responsible for all import and tax requirements for customs clearance etc.
TurboBid uses Turkish Airlines as its partner for vehicle cargo transportation. Tracking information is provided

TurboBid only works with insured partners ,
It is highly advised that someone is present during both the pickup and drop-off of the vehicle. Our driver will conduct a thorough inspection, including taking photos, upon pickup, and this inspection report will be accessible upon delivery. In the unlikely occurrence of any new damages, we will initiate a claim process and collaborate with you to resolve the matter.
Our delivery team requires the precise location for the vehicle’s delivery. Rest assured, your address remains confidential within our shipping department. If you prefer not to disclose your personal address and are open to meeting the delivery driver at an alternate location, you can specify a different address for vehicle pickup, like a nearby grocery store or shopping mall. Please ensure that the selected location allows safe access for a transport truck.

Our delivery partners are instructed to take photos and do a complete inspection of the vehicle at the time of pick up and drop off. This is to ensure that there is no damage during the transportation process .
